Leeds United may reportedly sign Manchester City youngster Yan Couto on a season-long loan deal.
Earlier this year, City edged out Barcelona to sign the right-back, who has recently helped Brazil win the Under-17 World Cup.
However, despite the emergence of the teenager, he is unlikely to be considered for a first-team spot at the Etihad Stadium for the foreseeable future.
According to The Athletic, Pep Guardiola is open to allowing Couto to continue his development under Marcelo Bielsa at Elland Road.
The report claims that a deal will only materialise should Leeds earn a return to the Premier League once football resumes after the coronavirus outbreak.
Leeds are also yet to decide whether they would want to regularly use a player of that age in their first team next season.
