Team News: Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata return to Manchester United XI

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho includes both Juan Mata and Wayne Rooney in his starting lineup for the Europa League game with Zorya Luhansk.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has included both Juan Mata and Wayne Rooney in his starting lineup for the Europa League game with Zorya Luhansk.

Rooney, through suspension, and Mata did not feature during the 1-1 draw with Everton on Sunday afternoon but they are back in the team for United's crucial tie in Ukraine.

Sergio Romero is preferred to David de Gea in goal, Ashley Young gets a rare start at right-back while Eric Bailly makes his first start since recovering from a knee injury.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is included in attack, but Marouane Fellaini has to settle for a place on the bench just days after giving away a penalty during the closing stages at Goodison Park.

Zorya Luhansk: Levchenko; Opanasenko, Forster, Sivakov, Sukhotskiy; Karavaev, Kharatin, Chaykovskiy, Petriak; Ljubenovic, Bezborodko

Manchester United: Romero, Young, Bailly, Rojo, Blind, Herrera, Pogba, Mata, Rooney, Mkhitaryan, Ibrahimovic
Subs: De Gea, Fosu-Mensah, Jones, Fellaini, Lingard, Martial, Rashford
