Manchester United lead Swansea City 1-0 in Sir Alex Ferguson's last ever game in charge at Old Trafford.
Within the first five minutes, Robin van Persie threaded a ball to Javier Hernandez, who rattled the crossbar.
Van Persie once again teed up his fellow strike partner on the half-hour mark, but the Mexican striker could only fire over the bar from 18 yards.
However, with half time approaching, Manchester United opened the scoring. Van Persie swung a free kick into the box that Swansea failed to deal with, and Hernandez tucked the loose ball underneath the onrushing Gus Tremmel.
