Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has claimed that Anthony Martial is a major doubt ahead of Saturday's meeting with Manchester City at the Etihad.
The Frenchman was not included in the squad to face Tottenham Hotspur after suffering an injury against Aston Villa that Solskjaer said would keep him out for a 'little while'.
In his absence, Marcus Rashford stole the limelight with two goals and a strong performance in a 2-1 win over Jose Mourinho's Spurs at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
When asked about whether Martial would recover in time for Saturday's derby, Solskjaer told MUTV: "I'm not sure. I don't know."
Martial has already missed a significant portion of this season tue to a thigh injury sustained in August.
Mason Greenwood, who started up front in Martial's place against Spurs, is expected to feature once again when United meet the Premier League champions.
