Manchester United full-back Patrice Evra does not believe that major changes will be needed if the club fail to win the Premier League title this season.
The Red Devils head into the final day of the season requiring a victory over Sunderland, while also hoping that rivals Manchester City drop points at home to Queens Park Rangers.
Regardless of the outcome, Evra has insisted that Sir Alex Ferguson will not be required to make major additions to his squad.
"I know that if we don't win the league then a lot of people will say this is the end of the empire and ask how we will survive," said the French defender. "But there is a lot of talent at this club.
"We've had to deal with a lot through injuries and losing experienced players last summer and it's never easy to find a solution immediately."
United kept up their pursuit of City with a 2-0 win over Swansea City yesterday afternoon.
