Zlatan Ibrahimovic 'could miss Manchester United's pre-season tour of China'

Zlatan Ibrahimovic could reportedly miss Manchester United's pre-season tour of China as manager Jose Mourinho considers giving him more rest time.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic could reportedly miss Manchester United's pre-season tour of China this week.

The Sweden international joined the Red Devils on a free transfer at the start of the month after ending a four-year spell at Paris Saint-Germain.

After playing at Euro 2016 with his national team, the 34-year-old was given the required three-week break, but United fans may have to wait a little bit longer to see their new signing.

According to widespread reports in the British media, manager Jose Mourinho may allow Ibrahimovic to miss the China trip in order to give him some extra rest.

United will take on Borussia Dortmund in Shanghai on July 22 and then Manchester City in Beijing three days later.

Ibrahimovic is one of three new signings, including Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, to come through the Old Trafford gates so far this summer.
