Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic insists that the team will "click" on and off the pitch following a difficult start to the season.

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has insisted that the team will "click" on and off the pitch in time following an inconsistent start to the season.

Jose Mourinho's side had claimed just one win in seven Premier League games before they earned a 3-1 victory over Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.

Ibrahimovic, who signed for the Red Devils on a free transfer in the summer, ended his goal drought by scoring twice at the weekend.

"It's just about timing and moment. It will click," the Swedish striker told Inside United. "We just wait for the moment when everything is clicking among each other, not only inside the pitch, but outside it.

"I don't say things are bad because things are good. We've been a little unlucky in certain games but we believe and, when you believe, it will come. I like to train hard, that's my philosophy. If you train hard, you get what you want to get. Hard work pays back, according to me, and it does after 20 years of experience."

Meanwhile, reports have claimed that Luke Shaw has been left baffled by Mourinho's apparent criticism after the left-back declared himself unfit for the match against Swansea.
