Manchester United defender Phil Jones has paid tribute to Nemanja Vidic after the Serbian announced his retirement on Friday.
Vidic, 34, departed Inter Milan earlier this month and has decided to bring the curtain down on a glittering playing career after admitting that injuries had "taken their toll".
Jones played alongside Vidic at Man United between 2011 and 2014, and the England international has branded his former teammate "a legend".
It was a pleasure to play alongside this man, a player who I always looked up too! A legend @ManUtd Congrats Vida pic.twitter.com/N9K9bHfRtt

Vidic helped Man United win five Premier League titles and one Champions League during his time with the Red Devils.
