Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick is reportedly set for three weeks out injured after he suffered a sprained ankle in their League Cup semi-final defeat to Sunderland on Wednesday night.
Carrick was replaced in extra time by Phil Jones after sustained the knock, and the sprain will keep him out until mid-February, according to the Daily Mail.
The 32-year-old is likely to miss the games at Old Trafford against Cardiff City and Fulham as well as the trip to Stoke City.
Carrick could also miss the visit to Arsenal on February 12.
