Roma general manager Mauro Baldissoni has claimed that Netherlands international Kevin Strootman will not be sold.
The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United, but his club have made it clear that he will be staying at the Stadio Olimpico.
"We can't wait to see Strootman back on the field, because we really miss him and that moment is getting closer," Baldissoni told Sky Sport Italia.
"We are proud to have Strootman in our squad and he is not for sale."
Strootman joined Roma last summer from PSV Eindhoven and made 29 appearances for the club before suffering a knee injury in March.
