Juventus winger Douglas Costa 'liked' a Twitter post linking him with a move to Manchester United in this summer's transfer window.

Costa, 28, has only scored one goal in 17 Serie A appearances for Juventus during the 2018-19 campaign.

United have recently been credited with an interest in the Brazil international, who is capable of playing in a number of different positions in the final third of the field.

Costa dropped a hint that he could be heading for Old Trafford by 'liking' a Twitter post which said that United were preparing a move for the South American.

The attacker has since 'unliked' the post, but his social media activity will do little to quell rumours of a potential switch to Manchester in this summer's transfer window.

Costa scored six times during a loan spell at Juve last term before completing a permanent move to the Italian champions from Bayern Munich ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.
