Senegalese international Idrissa Gueye 'dreams' of joining Man United

Arsenal-linked midfielder Idrissa Gueye hints that he would be interested in a move to Manchester United should he leave Lille this summer.

Lille midfielder Idrissa Gueye has revealed that playing for Manchester United "would be a dream" should a move ever go through.

The 25-year-old, who has been linked with a switch to Arsenal in the past, is a regular for the Ligue 1 outfit and has won seven caps for Senegal at international level.

However, in an interview with France-based journalist Matt Spiro, Gueye made clear that Old Trafford would be his preferred destination should he leave Les Dogues this summer.

"Joining MUFC would be a dream," Spiro quotes the Lille star as saying. "I've always supported them. I adore them."

Gueye, who is under contract at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy until 2018, is reportedly rated at around the £5m mark.
