Manchester United are one of three clubs that could move for Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale this summer, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly one of three clubs that could move for Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale in this summer's transfer window.

Bale's contract in Madrid will run until the summer of 2022, but his future with Los Blancos is far from certain having struggled to impress during the 2018-19 campaign.

The 29-year-old has only managed eight La Liga goals this term, while he has been consistently booed by Madrid's supporters over the last few months.

According to Marca, United remain interested in a deal for the Wales international and Paul Pogba could be used to land the former Southampton youngster in this summer's transfer window.

Meanwhile, the same report claims that German champions Bayern Munich are in the hunt as they look to replace Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.

Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with an interest in their former attacker, who left the capital outfit for Madrid in the summer of 2013.

Bale has scored over 100 times during his six seasons at the Bernabeu.
