Manchester United are reportedly monitoring the progress of Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams.
After Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic departed the club in the summer, Man United strengthened their midfield options by signing Casemiro from Real Madrid.
Despite adding the experienced Brazilian to their squad, the Red Devils are still believed to be looking at recruiting another midfielder.
According to Football Insider, United have identified Adams as a potential option, having closely followed his progress since his time with RB Leipzig.
The United States international left the German club in July to join Leeds, where he has started the club's opening 10 league games, although he missed Sunday's 3-2 defeat to Fulham through injury
With the 23-year-old under contract with Leeds until June 2027, Man United may have to pay a large fee if they are to secure his services.
