Manchester United offered Sami Khedira for £200,000 a week?

Manchester United have the chance to sign Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira on a £200,000-a-week contract, according to reports.

Louis van Gaal has been offered the chance to bring World Cup-winning midfielder Sami Khedira to Old Trafford for £200,000 a week, according to reports.

The 28-year-old is out of contract at Real Madrid this summer and has been linked with a move to a host of European clubs.

However, United have now been given the chance to beat the competition to Khadira's signature by agreeing to his £200,000-a-week wages, reports the Daily Star.

If Van Gaal successfully recruits Khedira, he would become United's first ever senior German player.

However, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool are all also believed to be interested in signing him.
