Manchester United will reportedly fail in a bid to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski in the summer as the forward opts for a move to Bayern Munich.
The Poland international has been heavily tipped to join the Red Devils in the summer in a big-money switch from the Bundesliga.
Despite United's reported interest, it is believed that Lewandowski will opt to sign for Bayern Munich under new manager Pep Guardiola, according to TuttoMercato.
The 24-year-old comes to the end of his current contract in 2014.
