Manchester United have reportedly joined the hunt for Fiorentina centre-forward Dusan Vlahovic.
The 21-year-old has scored 12 times in 14 appearances for his Italian club during the 2021-22 campaign, and a number of clubs, including Newcastle United, Juventus, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City, are believed to be interested in his services.
Fiorentina are unlikely to sanction a January exit but could be forced into a sale next summer, as the striker's contract is due to expire in June 2023, and he has thus far rejected the chance to sign an extension.
According to the Daily Mail, Man United have been watching the Serbia international this season and are firmly in the race for his signature next year.
The Red Devils are expected to target a new centre-forward in 2022, with both Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial likely to leave the club at the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
Vlahovic has scored 41 times in 98 appearances for Fiorentina since making the move from Partizan in July 2018.
Meanwhile, Man United have allegedly agreed a six-month deal with former RB Leipzig head coach Ralf Rangnick to become the club's new interim manager.
