Nemanja Matic 'pictured in Manchester United gear ahead of move from Chelsea'

An image surfaces online appearing to show Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic wearing a Manchester United training top.

Nemanja Matic appears to be on the brink of completing a switch from Chelsea to Premier League rivals Manchester United after apparently being pictured wearing Red Devils-branded clobber.

Reports emerged overnight suggesting that the Serbia international has just personal terms left to agree with United ahead of finalising a transfer, which is expected to be made official early next week.

A United supporter has fanned the flames by posting an image showing Matic dressed in the club's training gear, though verification has yet to have been given by either side.


Matic is expected to set United back £40m, taking the sum spent by boss Jose Mourinho this summer to around £146m on three new players.
