Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is open to signing a new contract at Old Trafford, according to a report.

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is reportedly 'showing signs' of wanting to sign a new contract with the 20-time English champions.

The France international's current deal at Old Trafford is due to expire at the end of June, meaning that, as it stands, he will leave the club on a free transfer for the second time this summer.

Pogba has started Man United's last three matches since returning from a hamstring injury, though, and scored his first goal of the season against Burnley in the Premier League last week.

According to The Sun, the midfielder is now 'showing signs' that he wants to commit his future to the Red Devils by signing a fresh contract.

Real Madrid and Juventus continue to be strongly linked with the 28-year-old, but both clubs would struggle to match the wages that Man United are allegedly prepared to offer him.

Pogba played the full 90 minutes against Southampton on Saturday afternoon, as top-four chasing Man United again threw away a one-goal lead to draw 1-1 at Old Trafford.
