Real Madrid have reportedly identified Porto defender Eder Militao as one of their top targets for the summer transfer window.
The European champions have endured a disappointing first half of the campaign, and interim boss Santiago Solari is currently under pressure to keep his job at the Bernabeu.
However, Real continue to be linked with possible additions over the next two transfer windows, and according to Marca, the club's hierarchy have taken a keen interest in Militao.
The 20-year-old only made the switch to Porto at the start of the season, but the Brazilian has already established himself as a key part of the team with 18 starts being made in Portugal's top flight and the Champions League.
Manchester United and Liverpool have also been linked with an approach, but it has been suggested that Real have already sent scouts to watch Militao on three separate occasions.
Militao has a release clause of €42m (£37.91m) until the end of January, when it increases to €50m (£45.13m).
