Report: Manchester United could end Radamel Falcao's loan over knee issues

Manchester United could reportedly send Radamel Falcao back to Monaco prior to the end of his loan stint if he suffers a recurrence of a knee injury.

Manchester United could reportedly call an end to Radamel Falcao's loan stint at Old Trafford if he suffers a recurrence of a knee injury.

The Colombian, who moved to the North-West outfit from Monaco on transfer deadline day, required surgery after damaging his anterior cruciate ligament prior to the World Cup.

While Falcao himself has expressed a desire to stay at United beyond his loan, according to The Express, the club may consider sending him back should his knee problems resurface.

The 28-year-old started against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium yesterday, but failed to score as United succumbed to a 5-3 defeat.
