Report: No Sadio Mane bid from Manchester United

Southampton are reportedly yet to receive an offer from Manchester United for Sadio Mane, although they expect one to come in the near future.

Manchester United have reportedly not yet lodged an official offer to Southampton for Sadio Mane.

It was claimed this afternoon that the Red Devils had made a bid for the 23-year-old after another of their targets - Barcelona winger Pedro - decided to join Chelsea.

However, according to the Daily Echo, the Saints have received no concrete interest from their Premier League counterparts, although they do expect United to make contact over the coming days.

Mane arrived on the South Coast last summer from Red Bull Salzburg in a deal worth £10m and it is believed that Southampton would look to make a significant profit before they consider parting with their asset.

The wideman found the net on 10 occasions last term - a haul which included the Premier League's fastest ever hat-trick.
