Danny Welbeck is undergoing his Arsenal medical ahead of a deadline-day switch to the Gunners, according to reports.

Manchester United forward Danny Welbeck is reportedly undergoing a medical at Arsenal ahead of a deadline-day move to the Gunners.

Tottenham Hotspur were reported to be closing in on the signing of Welbeck, who is thought to favour a switch to their North London rivals due to the Champions League element.

The 23-year-old was at Arsenal's training ground with the England squad but, according to Sky Sports News, the United striker is now undergoing medical tests.

It is not yet known if the prospective deal is a loan or permanent move.
