Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly at the head of the queue to sign Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissouma this summer.
Bissouma has been heavily linked with a move away from the Amex Stadium during the current transfer window, with his performances last season attracting interest from a number of England's biggest clubs.
Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal are all thought to have been monitoring the Malian's situation, although Brighton's £40m valuation has so far seen him stay put.
The Express reports that Tottenham have now moved ahead of their rivals in the race for Bissouma's signature, with manager Nuno Espirito Santo understood to be a big fan of the midfielder.
Brighton are reluctant to lose one of their star men, though, and are unlikely to budge on their asking price with only days remaining until the deadline.
Bissouma has enjoyed another good start to the 2021-22 campaign, helping Brighton to two wins from their opening three Premier League games.
