Manchester United will reportedly make another move to land Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas this summer, having failed in their pursuit of the midfielder last year.
According to the Daily Star, the Spanish international is the subject of renewed interest from Old Trafford, with the Red Devils aware that they will need to pay a £45m fee and offer wages in the region of £200,000-a-week to finally secure his signature.
However, any decision to move for Fabregas will lie with Dutchman Louis van Gaal, should the Netherlands boss be installed as David Moyes' long-term successor at United.
Van Gaal has reportedly pinpointed the club's midfield as an area requiring strengthening this summer, with German internationals Marco Reus and Toni Kroos as well as Dutchman Kevin Strootman also on a shortlist of targets.
However, United could face competition for Fabregas from the player's former club Arsenal, who are said to be interested in re-signing the 27-year-old.
