Mexico have inflicted more misery on Guus Hiddink's Netherlands with a 3-2 win at the Amsterdam ArenA this evening.
Carlos Vela made a triumphant return to international football as he marked his first appearance for the Tricolor in three years with two goals, while on-loan Real Madrid forward Javier Hernandez scored the other for the Mexicans.

Wesley Sneijder and Daley Blind netted for Oranje in the second half, but the reverse marks their fourth defeat in five games.
Vela netted the opener after just eight minutes when he curled an effort beyond Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul from around 25 yards out.
Sneijder evened things up after the restart with a powerful long-range volley before Vela grabbed his brace with a strike that flew underneath Krul's body.
Hernandez then extended the advantage on 69 minutes when he beat the offside trap to round the keeper and slot into the empty net.
Manchester United midfielder Blind reduced the arrears with a deflected effort that beat Guillermo Ochoa, but the South Americans held on for the win.
