Team News: Patrick Bamford drops to Middlesbrough bench

Middlesbrough leave striker Patrick Bamford on the bench for the second leg of their Championship playoff tie against Brentford at the Riverside.

Patrick Bamford has dropped to the substitutes' bench for the second leg of Middlesbrough's Championship playoff tie with Brentford at the Riverside this evening.

The striker has been struggling with an injury, so misses out on a place in the starting lineup, with Kike taking his place.

Meanwhile, the visitors have named an unchanged side as they seek to overturn a 2-1 deficit from last Friday's clash at Griffin Park.

Andre Gray will be looking to add to his goal from the first leg, while Stuart Dallas and Jon Toral are both available on the bench for Mark Warburton's side.

Middlesbrough: Konstantopoulos, Whitehead, Ayala, Gibson, Friend, Clayton, Leadbitter, Adomah, Vossen, Tomlin, Kike
Subs: Ripley, Reach, Bamford, Nsue, Amorebieta, Forshaw, Woodgate

Brentford: Button, Odubajo, Dean, Tarkowski, Bidweel, Diagouraga, Douglas, Jota, Judge, Pritchard, Gray
Subs: Craig, McCormack, Dallas, Bonham, Toral, Smith, Long
