Montpellier HSC frontman Lucas Barrios has revealed his delight at getting back scoring for his team.
Barrios had gone through a torrid run of 700 minutes without a goal since joining the club, a duck which he finally broke in a 4-0 win over Rennes two weeks ago.
"It was great because as a forward, you live to score goals," said Barrios, according to the official Ligue 1 website.
"I'm happy to be living this moment right now because I worked hard and I never let my head drop, knowing I'd eventually score in Ligue 1. That's what I wanted, to come to Montpellier and play here.
"When you get criticised it only makes you stronger. I'd know, because I've lived through some moments of glory, but also moments of doubt and uncertainty."
Montpellier currently occupy 10th position in the Ligue 1 table.
