Newcastle United are reportedly weighing up a decision to recall Adam Armstrong from his Coventry City loan spell.
The 18-year-old has impressed during his short time at the Ricoh Arena, scoring 12 goals in his first 14 appearances.
Magpies boss Steve McClaren recently ruled out bringing the youngster back to the North-East prior to January, but it has now been claimed that Wolverhampton Wanderers have offered the forward Championship football.
It is suggested by The Shields Gazette that McClaren is deliberating over whether to keep Armstrong at Newcastle for the second half of the campaign, or to send him back out on loan in the Football League.
Armstrong is the current top scorer in League One thanks to a stellar start to the season at Coventry.
