Newcastle United are reportedly set to submit a new bid to Everton for Anthony Gordon.
The Magpies previously had a £35m offer rejected by Everton for the winger, but they are still interested in completing the signing this summer.
According to Football Insider, Newcastle are preparing a fresh offer for Gordon, with the North-East club looking to add to their attacking options.
The report indicates that Eddie Howe is willing to sell Allan Saint-Maximin to raise funds for new signings, which could help the Magpies meet the asking price set by the Merseyside club.
Everton are believed to be looking for a fee in the region of £40m, but they remained focused on agreeing an improved contract with the 21-year-old.
Gordon has three years remaining on his contract and has started both of Everton's Premier League games this season.
