Davide Santon will remain at Newcastle United next season despite interest from AC Milan, according to the player's agent.
The Italian giants are expected to bid for the full-back in the summer, but his representative Renzo Contratto believes that the Magpies will not let him go.
"I believe that Davide will remain in England because Newcastle want to count on him next season too," he told Radio Crc.
"The club believe that he still has great room for improvement."
Santon previously insisted that he is "very happy" at Newcastle and is settled in the North-East of England.
The Italian, who joined Newcastle from Inter Milan in 2011, is contracted at St James' Park until 2016.
