David Moyes describes Everton's win over Manchester City as one of his best in his time at the club.

David Moyes has claimed that the win over Manchester City is "one of the best" he has had during his time at Everton.

The Merseyside club beat City 1-0, thanks to a goal from former Manchester United man Darron Gibson.

Roberto Mancini's side dominated possession, but the Toffees' spirited defence were well-organised despite changes that saw Tony Hibbert playing out of position to partner Johnny Heitinga at centre back.

"Arguably, that might be one of the best I've had I think," said Moyes.

"The team I had tonight against the team we're playing against. I thought it was a brilliant effort and a great result for us.

"We've got Tony Hibbert at centre half and we're playing boys at the moment who are doing everything they possibly can. What an effort it really was."

Everton had a busy deadline day, signing Nikica Jelavic and Steven Pienaar.
