Norwich City captain Grant Holt has admitted that he was pleased with what he saw from January signing Kei Kamara during Saturday's 2-1 victory over Everton.
In what was only his second appearance for the Canaries since his loan switch from Sporting Kansas City, the 28-year-old came off the bench to score the equaliser in the closing stages, before Holt notched the winning goal in stoppage time.
With very little known about the Sierra Leone international, Holt has backed his new teammate to "surprise" a few people between now and the end of the season.
"[His goal] was a great header. I was trying to nick it to be honest and get my head on it," Holt told the club's official website. "He was lively when he came on. He's a bit of an unknown quantity, which is good for us. He brings that element of surprise and I thought he harried well."
The win over Everton lifted Norwich up to 12th in the Premier League standings.
