Chris O'Grady joins Nottingham Forest on season-long loan

Nottingham Forest complete the signing of Chris O'Grady from Brighton & Hove Albion on a season-long loan deal.

Nottingham Forest have completed the loan signing of Brighton & Hove Albion striker Chris O'Grady.

The 29-year-old has joined the Reds on a season-long loan after falling out of favour at the Amex Stadium.

The Nottingham-born frontman cost Brighton £2m when they signed him from Barnsley last summer, but he has made just 15 Championship starts for the Seagulls and netted a solitary goal.

Forest have been in the market for a striker this summer, with Britt Assombalonga and Matty Fryatt sidelined through injury.

O'Grady has also played for Sheffield Wednesday, Leicester City and Rochdale during his career.
