Agent: 'Jackson Martinez will not leave Porto in January'

Jackson Martinez's agent insists that the Colombian striker will not leave Porto in the January transfer window.

Jackson Martinez's agent has insisted that the Porto striker will not be moving to the Premier League in the January transfer window.

The 28-year-old has been linked with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool in recent months, but his representative claims that the Colombian is eager to stay in Portugal.

"He is happy," Henrique Pompeu told members of the media. "He wants to be champion in Portugal and go far in the Champions League.

"There is plenty of talk, but he has an agreement with Porto and will respect it. He won't leave in January."

Martinez has scored 15 goals in 19 appearances for Porto this season.
