Thiago Silva has called Paris Saint-Germain teammate Blaise Matuidi 'a phenomenal player' following the Frenchman's impressive start to the new campaign.
Matuidi hit a brace for France against Serbia during the international break and has also scored twice and registered two assists in five Ligue 1 matches this season.
Silva has branded his teammate "a phenomenon" and also praised both the technical and physical attributes of the 28-year-old.
"Technically, physically, I think he's a phenomenon," Silva told Telefoot.
Matuidi joined PSG from Saint-Etienne in 2011 and is fast closing in on 200 appearances for the current French champions.
