Queens Park Rangers midfielder Sandro faces a spell on the sidelines after injuring his knee celebrating a goal in training.
QPR boss Harry Redknapp confirmed that the Brazilian hurt himself when sliding across the ground in celebration.
The Mirror quotes him as saying: "Sandro injured his knee after scoring a goal in training and sliding on the dry ground celebrating."
Sandro missed several months of last season with a serious knee injury, but the R's are currently said to be unsure as to the full extent of the 25-year-old's problem.
