Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has suggested that the club could be interested in signing striker Nicolas Anelka if he becomes available.
The 33-year-old currently plays for Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai Shenhua but recent reports have claimed that the ex-Chelsea forward is unsettled with life in Asia.
"He is a good player, a quality player," said Redknapp. "If he's available he will be of interest to people. As far as I know he's gone to China. I don't know what the situation is with that."
The Frenchman has been acting as a player-coach for the Chinese side.
