Sergio Ramos has warned his Real Madrid teammates to remain grounded following their 1-1 draw against Barcelona in Saturday's El Clasico meeting.
The Spain international popped up in the final minute of normal time to cancel out Luis Suarez's earlier opener at Camp Nou, keeping intact his side's six-point lead at the top of La Liga.
It could also prove a vital result should it come down to head-to-head at the end of the season, but Ramos says that there is a long way to go before Madrid can even start thinking about lifting their first league title since 2012.
"We have to keep picking up points and maintaining the gap from Barcelona," he told the club's official website. "We mustn't get carried away because there's still a long way to go in La Liga, but it's better to have it in our own hands than to depend on others."
Madrid have just one more game to play before heading off for their Club World Cup campaign - a home match against Deportivo La Coruna next Saturday.
