Real Madrid midfielder Isco has stepped away from comparisons with Barcelona and Spain star Andres Iniesta.
Isco has been likened to the 30-year-old in various quarters, but the Los Blancos midfielder has claimed that he is 'a different player' to his compatriot.
"It's flattering to be compared to Andres for everything he has achieved, but as I've said many times, I don't like comparisons," Isco told reporters.
"Andres is Andres. I'm Isco, I'm different [to him] and I want to write my own story with both my club and country."
Isco and Iniesta were both involved as Spain recorded a 1-0 win over Ukraine in their Euro 2016 qualifier on Friday.
