The agent of Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has rejected reports that his client could join Barcelona this summer.
Speculation of a controversial switch to Camp Nou has gathered pace after the Catalans' presidential candidate Jordi Majo claimed that the Spaniard was offered to him.
Majo suggested that the offer was an "electoral trump card", but Ramos's representative and brother, Rene, has said that he will never play for Real's El Clasico rivals.
"Sergio Ramos will never play for Barca," he told reporters.
The 29-year-old joined the Blancos in 2005 from Sevilla and has since won three Ligas, two Copa del Reys and one Champions League title.
