Newcastle United have reportedly opened up talks to sign Real Madrid winger Eden Hazard.
The Premier League outfit were busy during the January transfer market, bringing in Bruno Guimaraes, Kieran Trippier, Matt Targett, Chris Wood and Dan Burn, which has led to an improvement in results.
Eddie Howe's team are undefeated in their previous eight matches in the top flight, and the club are already looking ahead to the summer, in order to plan for next season.
According to Defensa Central, the Magpies have begun conversations with Real Madrid about potentially signing Hazard, which would potentially see him return to England.
The La Liga side are hoping to offload the Belgian international in the summer, and it is believed that Newcastle are the first club to approach them about buying him.
Hazard has featured in 17 league games this season for the Spanish club, but he has failed to open his personal goal tally, while he is also yet to score in his three Champions League appearances either.
