Real Madrid have reportedly requested that Lyon defender Ferland Mendy undergoes a second medical ahead of a potential transfer.
The Spanish giants are known to have a significant transfer budget this summer, and a big-money deal has already been announced for Chelsea winger Eden Hazard.
There has been strong speculation regarding negotiations for Mendy, who has impressed for Lyon this season, but it appears that Real are in two minds over whether to complete a transfer.
According to AS, Real want Mendy to undergo a second medical in the coming days due to concerns over a recent hip injury.
Mendy is said to have regularly complained about the issue, although the full-back was able to feature in Lyon's closing games of the campaign.
The French club have denied suggestions that a deal has already been agreed.
