Raphael Varane has reportedly informed his Real Madrid teammates that he is seeking a move away from the club before next season.
The France international is into the eighth season of his Madrid career, racking up 268 appearances for the La Liga giants in that time.
On the back of a disappointing club campaign, though, L'Equipe reported earlier this week that the 25-year-old may be looking for a new challenge.
Paris Saint-Germain are thought to be willing to pay around £87m to sign Varane, and Spanish daily Marca indicates that the centre-back has now made it clear to those close to him that his future lies away from the Bernabeu.
Varane joined Real from Lens as an 18-year-old, rejecting a move to Manchester United in the process.
Since arriving in the Spanish capital eight years ago, the World Cup winner has lifted 16 major trophies, including four Champions Leagues and two La Ligas.
