Goalkeeper Shay Given has said that the Republic of Ireland will be going all out to win their Euro 2012 qualifier against Armenia on Tuesday, despite only needing a draw.
Giovanni Trapattoni's side can earn themselves a playoff spot with a share of the spoils, although the faint hope of automatic qualification is still possible, but they would need minnows Andorra to pull off an upset against Russia.
"A draw is enough for us, but we don't want to be holding out for a draw because anything can happen in the last minute.
"Hopefully we can go and win the game and it puts them out of the way."
The Republic's last participation in an international tournament was at the 2002 World Cup.
