Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini has said that his club are confident of signing Paris Saint-Germain defender Lucas Digne to a permanent contract in this summer's transfer window.
Digne, 22, joined Roma on loan from PSG at the start of the 2015-16 campaign and has made 39 appearances in all competitions for the Italian giants.
As it stands, the Frenchman is due to return to Paris for the new season, but Sabatini 'is sure' that the two clubs will come to an arrangement over the transfer of the left-back.
"We'll have to push that one through with PSG; the lad deserves it. He has worked hard and played well. We want to keep him here and I'm sure we'll reach an agreement," Sabatini told reporters.
Digne has been named in France's provisional squad for the European Championships this summer.
