Domenico Berardi keen for Sassuolo stay

In-form Sassuolo striker Domenico Berardi reckons that he will remain at the Matei Stadium next season rather than return to parent club Juventus.

Domenico Berardi has revealed his intentions to stay at Sassuolo next season rather than return to parent club Juventus.

The striker, 20, brought his total for the season to 14 with a hat-trick in this afternoon's 3-2 win at home to nine-man AC Milan.

This is Berardi's second season at the Mapei Stadium, having netted 16 times in 29 appearances last term, and the youngster does not believe that he will return to Turin this summer.

"We'll see what we do in June, whether I stay or go," he told Sky Sport Italia. "But I believe that I will stay. I have to evaluate the situation with my agents in June."

Berardi also scored all four goals in a 4-3 win over the Rossoneri last season.
