Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Leeds United

Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham Hotspur's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Leeds United.

Tottenham Hotspur will be desperate to end a two-game losing run when they welcome Leeds United to North London for Saturday's final Premier League game before the World Cup.

Antonio Conte's side lost ground on Arsenal and Manchester City after going down 2-1 to Liverpool last weekend, with Mohamed Salah at the double before Harry Kane pulled one back.

The Lilywhites - who are now fourth in the table - also saw one of their chances of silverware crash and burn in midweek, as they suffered a 2-0 loss to Nottingham Forest in the third round of the EFL Cup.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with the Whites, who lost 1-0 to Wolverhampton Wanderers in their EFL Cup battle.

Status: Out
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: December 26 (vs. Brentford)

Ryan Sessegnon was struggling with an injury towards the end of the loss to Nottingham Forest but was nevertheless forced to carry on after Spurs had used all of their substitutes. Conte did not go into too much detail about the 22-year-old's issue, which has been described as a "little" one, but he will miss out here.

Son Heung-min

Possible return date: December 26 (vs. Brentford)

Son Heung-min has undergone successful surgery on the fracture around his eye socket that he sustained against Marseille in the Champions League, and while he will not be available here, the South Korea international has confirmed that he will be fine for the World Cup.

Cristian Romero
