Ahead of facing West Ham United at the London Stadium on Saturday, Mourinho took his first training session with the Spurs squad on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Record, Mourinho made a point of giving the players an impassioned speech ahead of the trip to East London.
The Portuguese boss is said to have told players that he would be "your father, friend, girlfriend, whatever you want".
