Mauricio Pochettino expecting "tough" West Bromwich Albion test

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino calls on his side to produce a similar performance to their win over Manchester City when they visit West Bromwich Albion.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has called on his side to pick up where they left off before the international break when they face West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

Spurs went into the break off the back of a five-match winning streak in all competitions, the most recent of which saw them end Manchester City's perfect start to the season with a 2-0 victory at White Hart Lane.

Pochettino wants to see a similar performance from his side at The Hawthorns, but warned that it will be a different match against Tony Pulis's men.

"It's not difficult because we're young but we have experienced players," he told reporters.

"Our job is to be realistic. We only got three points from Manchester City. It was a good game, we played well, it was exciting but we need to be clever.

"We need to understand it's a tough game against West Brom. We need to play with the same intensity, same passion."

Spurs could move top of the Premier League table with three points this weekend, depending on results elsewhere.
